Etude in Light is created to explore the world of color, texture and theme through photography. This is a beta version, an experiment to develop an eye for the elements of creative and intriguing images.
I am most interested by the contrast, or lack thereof of color and light.
Subjects of interest include wildlife; specifically birds and their habitats, and the seasonal effects on native Minnesota plant and animal life. You may find the occasional food picture too, but the goal is the study of color and texture, without limitation on the context of subject.
I hope this blog gives me a framework to learn and grow, independantly, as a photographer through the course of 2009.
