One of my more cooperative subjects! A hand-blown glass figurine, on white natural sunlight for shadow.

Snow Boats

Photobucket

I had seen these boats for a few years and have always liked the contrast of of the snow and the iconic summer speed boat. I wanted a super saturated look here to exagerate the colors against the snow.
I wonder if these will ever see water?

Hungry for Spring

Just had fun today, and this little bluebird appealed to me. The ground hog did see its shadow today and we'll undoubtedly have 6 more weeks of winter!

Rust Bucket

Photobucket

Yesterday ended up being a little of a theme (cars), but not intentionally. I liked this shot because of the cars' utter state of hopelessness. The rust of the gate and the car, then of course the snow and its location.

Anyone know the make of the car?

Texaco

Photobucket

I liked this antiquated Americana sign, actually, taken in the same location as rust bucket, at roughly the same settings.
The picture didn't really do too much for me until I added a slight edge burn, this caused everything to pop, and look in place for me.

Accurate Vanity Plate

Photobucket

This one was a hoot! I saw this car outside the store and the icicles on this Arizona plate caused a giggle. Then, upon getting down to shoot this, the Mt Dew added an over the top touch-Its all the more ironic becuase the drivers are Apostolic aquaintences- and the back license plate were MICHIGAN! (don't worry you legal beagles-they were fully registered)
