I was excited all day, to shoot the 'Lunar Event of 2009', I got my Kodak, yes kodak but hey, with the moon 14% larger it would have worked on superzoom, extra batteries and jimmied up a tripod. Well, it was so overcast, it took me a 10 minute drive just to locate the moon in the sky. You couldn't even see its light. So..I dredged up a hummingbird picture from this summer, did a little cropping, because, hummingbirds are mightly flighty and small, and decided to post that. Oh well..dark winter nights are not renoun photographic subjects. So here's another little taste of summer.
PS. A memo to those who don't backup save photos...computers can crash beyond repair, which is what happened to the computer I'm using tonight. I had a stunning winter photo on it that I'd hope to use at some point. Its long gone. So the point is every shot is in a way a once in a lifetime shot, but it's only half yours if you get it from camera to computer.
