The showy lady slippers are the local celebrties here now. They are at their peak and many have photographed them. They are complex flowers in many ways and likewise are difficult to photograph to capture all the dimentions. Enchanting.

This photo is different from all other traditional ladyslipper photos I have seen. The side lighting really highlights the form of the flower. Maybe you should print some postcards of it?
