Shot from earlier this winter, I have played with this image before, and can't shake the feeling of its timelessness. If I had photoshop, I would like to change the design on the child's snowpants, to make it look older, and I'd add a gray wooden frame, but for now, I like the blurred edges.
I like that the shutter speed was fast enough to capture the snow, and its contrast against the burgundy jacket, I wouldn't go to grayscale for this reason.
